Can a traffic offense violate your probation?

I was giving a 1 year suspended sentence with a 1 year unsupervised probation for something I didn't do back in August 2010 (criminal charge) but anyways I was charged last month with a traffic offense (no driver's license) and have court soon. Will pleading guilty for the traffic offense automatically violate my probation even if it wasn't a criminal offense?
