Do I have to get a TSA pat down at the airport?

okay im 15 and my cousin is 16 and we going to Florida in august and we were wondering do we have to get a TSA pat down, my cousin is a 16 year old girl and she doesn't want to get violated, so do we have to get the pat down? also do we have to travel as unaccompanied minors
